PMD Unity Mission #1, Researcher's Guild

Teruna had received a report from the guild leader just a short time ago letting the Researchers Guild know exactly what the situation was and the steps that were being taken to resolve it.
The situation at hand was as such:

The large statue which stood at the center of Andalusst suddenly animated and began attacking the town. Each of the guilds was taking their own measures to neutralize the threat, and the mission of the Researchers guild was twofold. Flint was looking for parts he needed to construct a device to Jam the signals sending information to the Golem's brain, which required strength of arm to carry heavy equipment, as well as intelligence to assemble the machine according to his specifications.

On the other hand, Chelle was looking for a group to volunteer with attaching signal receiver nodes to the Golem's body.
This was something that Teruna understood easily. In order to channel energy from Flints machine into the Golem, nodes had to be applied to certain points of its body to triangulate its position and insure that the jamming takes effect to shut off the signals to its brain.

This was also the mission that Teruna signed up for. She was known for making things disappear and reappear, taking things from someone without them knowing and returning them without arousing suspicion was her special skill, one that no one else could imitate.. that she had met yet anyway.

Earlier in the day she spoke with Chelle and acquired one of the nodes necessary to channel energy into the golem, they were in short supply so she left early to insure that she was at the front of the line.
Time was short however, and the golem was rampaging through Andalusst. She had to execute her mission with precision and finesse not seen by Poke-kind before. She grabbed the device and immediately departed to Regigigas' last known location.

Immediately upon arriving she was astounded by the destruction. She drew a hand to her mouth as she looked at the destroyed buildings surrounding the plaza. There was a large indentation in the ground from some sort of exchange, with ripples extending in either direction. Someone apparently traded blows with it here. She was surprised based on its size that there wasn't a pile of gore on the opposite side. Whatever traded blows apparently traded evenly.. for a time.

Whoever it was likely beat a retreat afterwards, as the footprints lead away towards the outskirts of Andalusst. Teruna slowly floated down from the rooftop she was perched upon using Psychic powers, landing softly on the ground. She opened her hand and placed it palm down on the cracked cobblestones. The footprints were enormous. She had seen the statue in the square before, but this.. this was gargantuan. If she curled up she could likely fit into the recess made by the large beast. The friction between the foot and the stone made it warm, and it felt nice on her fingers.

"Welp, Time to get this underway!" Teruna says as she streched her legs. Teruna was known as Whimsy to those within her circle of allies, which was large enough on its own to start her own guild. But management didn't appeal to her. She earned her nickname from her whimsical nature. Unlikely to be doing one thing for very long, hard to pin down in one place. The very thing that this mission she took required. She had to eat, and this seemed like a good a way as any to make some money.

She fingered the stick of her broom and exhaled deeply, channeling psychic energy. In order for her to catch up to Regigigas some degree of speed would be involved, and running on the street where cobblestones were upturned from a giant monster wasn't the fastest way to travel. So she decided to travel another way.

"This will be fun, fun, fun!" Teruna said, giggling as she was surrounded by a purple veil of energy. She jumped up and down from side to side, testing her dexterity. With each jump she would ascend a little higher, and after a few jumps she was bounding above the buildings surrounding the plaza.

"Off we go!" Teruna says, bounding across the rooftops.

She lands on a rooftop as she moves closer to the edge of town and a tile on the roof slips into the alley, taking her foot with it.

"Whoooooo~!" Teruna exclaims as she falls into the alleyway, rotating in midair she fires a psybeam at the ground to push her back upwards. She sets foot back on the roof and wipes her brow. "That was close." she says bringing a finger to her mouth. A huge crash resounds and she nearly loses her balance again as the roof she's standing on caves in from the force of the distant quake, saving herself from injury by floating above the wreckage.

"Someone really needs to inspect these buildings, they're practically caving in on themselves, hehe." She floats a bit higher to inspect the area.

"There it is!" she whispered. Regigigas loomed in the distance, stomping along chasing a blue blur.

She chewed on the antennae of the node she took from Chelle. "Now Where did I put that device..."
